What is the Hydrafacial® and why is it good for my skin?

Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase signs of aging. Hydrafacial® treatments are hydrating and non-irritating. 

Am I a good candidate for this treatment?

• Hydrafacial® treatments are designed for all skin types, skin tones, ages and genders. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates a Hydrafacial® treatment. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. Consult your physician or skincare professional for a skin evaluation and sensitivity test.

What results may be expected? How many treatments are needed?

• Many clients report seeing visible skin improvement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued Hydrafacial® treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results. 

Can I do the Hydrafacial® if I'm pregnant?

• The HydraFacial is generally not recommended during pregnancy due to certain ingredients and procedures that may not be suitable. Please consult your healthcare provider before scheduling a treatment.

What is Microneedling and why is it good for my skin?

• Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural collagen and elastin production, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin. It can help reduce the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, and uneven texture. Microneedling is effective, safe, and customizable to target your specific skin concerns with little downtime.

Am I a good candidate for this treatment?

• Microneedling is suitable for most skin types and tones and can benefit anyone looking to improve skin texture, firmness, or scarring. It’s especially effective for individuals dealing with acne scars, sun damage, or early signs of aging. However, those with active acne, certain skin conditions, or who are pregnant may need to consult with a medical provider to determine if this treatment is appropriate.

The 75-minute treatment includes all functions versus the 60-minute only includes the diamond-tip exfoliation.

5. How often should I get a Microdermabrasion treatment?

6. Does microdermabrasion hurt?

No, the treatment should not be painful. You may feel mild suction or tingling, which is normal. Discomfort usually indicates the suction level is too high.

7. Will my skin be red after use?

Mild redness may occur and typically subsides within a few hours. Applying a soothing moisturizer and sunscreen afterward is recommended.

8. Can I wear makeup after treatment?

It’s best to wait at least 12–24 hours before applying makeup to allow your skin to breathe and recover.

9. Who should not use this device?

Avoid use if you:

• Have active acne, eczema, rosacea, or open wounds

• Are sunburned

• Have recently had chemical peels or laser treatments

• Are advised against exfoliation by a dermatologist
